Dab Rigs

Glass dab rigs built for concentrates — recyclers, mini bell rigs, heady pieces, and complete kits. Smaller chambers preserve flavor; quartz banger ready joints fit standard 14mm. Pick a sub from the bar above or browse below.

Picking a dab rig

A dab rig is a water pipe sized for vapor instead of smoke. Smaller chamber, smaller bowl (banger), shorter air path. The whole point: deliver concentrate vapor with the terpene flavor intact.

Recyclers loop water and vapor between two chambers continuously while you inhale. Smoothest hits, no splash, cleanest flavor. The upgrade move once you’ve used a basic rig.

Mini rigs are 4–7 inches. Built specifically for flavor — less chamber, less terp loss. Most experienced dabbers run a mini.

Heady rigs are handcrafted, signed, often one-of-one. Pay for the design and craft, not for better function.

Kits include the rig + banger + carb cap + dab tool, all sized to fit. The right path for first-time dabbers — no compatibility issues, no weeks of separate orders.

FAQ

Do you need a dab rig or can you use a bong?

You can put a banger on a bong with the right adapter, but the chamber is too big for vapor — you’ll lose flavor and waste concentrate. Get a dedicated rig if you dab regularly.

What size joint does a dab rig use?

Mini rigs typically use 10mm. Standard rigs run 14mm. A few full-size rigs use 18mm. Match your banger to the joint size — wrong banger = wasted vapor.

How much water in a dab rig?

Less than a bong. Just covers the downstem or perc holes — usually a half-inch in a mini rig, an inch in a full-size. Splashing into the mouthpiece means too much water.

Are dab rigs worth it over a vape pen?

Yes for flavor. A dab off a glass rig with a quartz banger tastes noticeably better than the same concentrate through a pen. Pens are convenient; rigs are flavorful.

Low-temp vs. high-temp dabbing

Banger temperature changes everything about the dab.

  • Low-temp (450–550°F) — preserves terpenes, maximum flavor, slower vaporization. Best for live resin, rosin, sauce.
  • Medium-temp (550–650°F) — balanced flavor and clouds. Good for shatter, budder, most concentrates.
  • High-temp (650°F+) — burns terpenes, harsh hits, chazzes the banger. Avoid.

The full dab cycle

  1. Heat banger with butane torch (30–45 sec for a 25mm flat-top).
  2. Let cool to your target temp (30–60 sec depending on banger thickness).
  3. Drop the dab onto the warm banger.
  4. Cap with carb cap, inhale slowly.
  5. Swab the banger with a Glob Mop while still warm (key step most beginners skip).

Accessories that change the dab

  • Terp pearls — distribute concentrate, more even vaporization.
  • Carb cap — controls airflow, locks in vapor.
  • Reclaim catcher — saves the residue you’d otherwise lose.
  • Temp reader — eliminates guessing.

Why does my dab taste burnt?

Three usual causes: dabbing too hot (let the banger cool longer), chazzed banger (deep clean or replace), or dirty rig water (change it).

How much concentrate per dab?

Pea-sized to rice-grain. Beginners over-load constantly — start small, you can always do another dab. Big dabs waste concentrate (overload the banger, vapor escapes uncapped).

Are e-rigs better than glass dab rigs?

E-rigs (Puffco Peak, Carta) are convenient and travel well. Glass rigs deliver better flavor and cost less. Most serious dabbers own both.

I really like this rig but I was expecting it to be a little bigger. The description said 9 inches but I would say it’s more 6 inch range . I attached photo with it next to my 8 inch bubbler to show size. Most of my rigs are 4 to 6 inch range. I just wanted something a bit bigger. If was looking for something in the 6 inch range. This would be perfect. I would recommend downsizing to a 10 mm adapter. It’s not a necessity but I feel it makes the draw smoother but it’s a great rig for $100 price point. It seems to be built well and have enough to be used with an Enail.

Got what I wanted, parts were safely wrapped, overall great product. Didn’t come broken, nothing out of the ordinary.

Fast shipping and great packaging of the piece. The rig hits exactly as I hoped, with the tornado effect. The glass itself could be thicker in general. But mostly for further peace of mind. For this model, I wish it were the same height as the "double wu" rig. Worth it and great purchase experience. Especially the email customer service!

ok the recycler action on this thing is mesmerizing, watching the water cycle while you rip is half the fun. RBR colorwork is clean too, heavier than my old hammer and the pulls are way smoother. def my new daily 🔥
