Puffco makes the most popular electronic dab rigs on the market. The Peak, Peak Pro, and Proxy all ship with stock glass tops that work fine — but they’re sized conservatively, the airflow is generic, and the look is everyone-has-the-same-one. The aftermarket exists for that reason.

FAQ

Do aftermarket Puffco glass tops void the warranty?

Replacing glass tops doesn’t typically affect warranty on the device itself. Puffco’s coverage is on the heating chamber and electronics, not the glass. Always check current Puffco warranty terms before assuming.

Are aftermarket Puffco tops better than OEM?

Better for flavor (taller chambers, more cooling) and look (color work). The OEM works fine for stock function. The reason to upgrade is preference and feel.

Will any Puffco glass top fit my Peak?

Peak and Peak Pro use slightly different chamber sizes and threads. Always match the listing to your specific device. Carta 2 attachments don’t cross-fit.

How do I clean Puffco glass attachments?

Same as any rig — iso and salt, soak, shake, rinse. Don’t put glass in the heating base. Wipe the joint dry before reattaching.

Peak vs. Peak Pro vs. New Peak (V2) vs. Proxy vs. Pivot

• Peak — original e-rig, single-piece glass top, USB charging.
• Peak Pro — upgraded version. Bluetooth, longer battery, removable atomizer, 3DXL chamber compatibility.
• New Peak / Peak V2 — the newest Peak. Same chamber threading as the original Peak Pro line, so the entire glass attachment lineup fits it. Improved battery, refined heating, same external glass spec.
• Proxy — modular pen-style. Smaller, more portable, fits into glass attachments.
• Pivot — handheld, screw-on glass top, fewer moving parts than Peak Pro.

New Peak / V2 compatibility

If you have the New Peak (sometimes called the Peak V2), every Roots Glass Puffco glass attachment in our catalog fits — same threading, same chamber dimensions as the Peak and Peak Pro it replaces. You don’t need to filter for V2-specific listings; if a top fits the Peak Pro, it fits the New Peak.

Atomizer maintenance

The atomizer (the heating element) is the most important and most failure-prone part of any Puffco device. Clean weekly with isopropyl alcohol and Q-tips. Don’t submerge — the contacts can corrode. Replace when hits feel weak or temperatures drop unexpectedly.

What’s compatible across devices

Glass tops are device-specific between major lines (Peak/Peak Pro/New Peak ≠ Proxy ≠ Pivot ≠ Carta). Carb caps are device-specific. Replacement atomizers are device-specific. Always match the listing to your exact device.

How long does a Puffco atomizer last?

Usually 6–12 months of regular use. Signs it’s failing: weak hits at high temps, error codes, inconsistent heating. Replace before it stops working completely.

Why is my Puffco not heating up?

Three causes most often: dirty atomizer contacts (clean with iso and Q-tip), atomizer at end of life (replace), or low battery (charge fully). Other firmware issues — check Puffco’s troubleshooting page.

Are Roots Glass Puffco accessories OEM-quality?

Glass tops and carb caps from Roots Glass are made to OEM dimensions and tested to fit. We don’t sell Puffco-branded items — we sell aftermarket pieces designed to fit Puffco devices.
