Vapor behaves differently from smoke. It’s dense, sticky, and loses flavor fast in big chambers. A full-size bong is built for smoke — lots of room to spread, lots of water to filter. A mini rig is built for vapor — small chamber, short path, minimal surface area for terps to stick to.

Most mini rigs use a 10mm joint instead of the 14mm or 18mm you’d see on bongs. Smaller joint = smaller banger = less wasted vapor. Always check the listing for joint size before buying a banger separately.

Yes — same as any rig. Just less of it. Pour through the joint until water just covers the bottom of the downstem (or perc, on stemless minis). About a quarter to half-inch above the holes.
Most run 10mm female. Some go 14mm for compatibility with standard bangers. Always check the listing before ordering a banger separately.
Technically yes, but it’ll suck. The chamber is too small for flower smoke, and the joint angle is wrong for most bowls. Mini rigs are vapor-specific.

Verified OwnerI really like this rig but I was expecting it to be a little bigger. The description said 9 inches but I would say it’s more 6 inch range . I attached photo with it next to my 8 inch bubbler to show size. Most of my rigs are 4 to 6 inch range. I just wanted something a bit bigger. If was looking for something in the 6 inch range. This would be perfect. I would recommend downsizing to a 10 mm adapter. It’s not a necessity but I feel it makes the draw smoother but it’s a great rig for $100 price point. It seems to be built well and have enough to be used with an Enail.
