Why RAW

Rolling papers vary more than people realize. Cheap papers add chemicals to slow the burn or whiten the paper, which you taste. RAW papers are unbleached natural fiber — no whiteners, no chemical burn additives. Slower burn, cleaner taste.

Sizes we carry

• 1¼ — the standard. Fits about half a gram. Most common size.
• King Size — longer paper for bigger rolls. Up to a gram.
• Cones — pre-rolled paper cones. Pack and twist; no rolling skill needed.

Burn quality

A properly rolled RAW burns slow and even (no canoeing). If yours burns fast and uneven, the roll is too loose; if it won’t stay lit, it’s packed too tight.

FAQ

RAW vs. other rolling papers — what’s the difference?

RAW uses unbleached hemp/flax fiber and no chemical additives. Cheaper papers are bleached white and may include burn-rate chemicals. RAW burns slower and tastes cleaner.

What size paper should I buy?

1¼ for normal use. King size if you’re rolling for a group or want longer sessions. Cones if you don’t roll well — pre-rolled means no skill needed.

Why do my rolls keep canoeing (burning unevenly)?

Loose roll, uneven flower distribution, or wet flower. Pack tighter, distribute evenly, dry your flower out for a few minutes if it feels sticky.

Are RAW Black papers different from regular RAW?

Yes — RAW Black is double-pressed for thinner paper, slower burn, and even less paper taste. The premium tier of RAW.

Paper materials

• Hemp papers — RAW Classic, RAW Organic. Slow burn, mild flavor, most popular for everyday rolling.
• Rice papers — Elements, RAW Black. Thinnest, slowest burn, almost no paper taste.
• Flax papers — RAW Black. Slow even burn, very thin.
• Wood pulp papers — Zig-Zag white, Bambú. Faster burn, more visible paper, common but harsher.

Cone vs. flat paper

Cones come pre-rolled — you fill, twist, smoke. Flat papers require rolling skill but allow custom thickness. Most casual smokers use cones; experienced rollers prefer flat papers.

Are RAW papers actually better?

For natural fiber and slow burn, yes. RAW uses unbleached hemp/flax with no chemicals. Cheap branded papers often add chemicals to slow the burn artificially.

Why does my joint canoe?

Uneven roll (one side thicker than the other), uneven flower distribution, too tight or too loose pack, or wet flower. Pack evenly, distribute well, dry your flower if it feels sticky.

How long do rolling papers stay fresh?

Sealed: years. Opened pack: 6 months before they start to dry out and tear easily. Store in a sealed container if you don’t go through them fast.
