Featuring a high-quality infrared sensor, an adjustable sensor arm, and customizable temperature alerts, the V1.2 gives you precise control over every dab—so you’ll never scorch terps or waste concentrate again.
More advanced than a standard temp gun for dabs, and more affordable than some newer models, the Dab Rite V1.2 strikes the perfect balance of performance and value. It’s the ultimate dab temp timer for anyone who takes low-temp dabs seriously.
Power On:
Press the power button. The display screen will show the live temperature reading.

Watch the Cooldown:

Q: How is the Dab Rite V1.2 different from the Pro version?
A: The V1.2 is the original model—more affordable, but still highly accurate. It lacks a few advanced features like a protective lens cover and OLED display found on the Pro, but still functions as a top-tier dab temp reader.
Q: Is this better than a regular temp gun for dabs?
A: Yes, it’s hands-free, pre-calibrated, and includes customizable temp alerts, making it far more convenient and accurate than a handheld temp gun.
Q: Will this work with all types of dab rigs?
A: Yes, the adjustable sensor arm fits most setups and banger styles.
Q: Is this a good Dab Rite alternative?
A: It is the official Dab Rite—version 1.2. If you’re looking for a trusted, reliable dab rig temperature reader, this is a top choice.
Q: Can I change the alert temp?
A: Absolutely. The Dab Rite V1.2 lets you set your own temperature threshold, so you never miss your perfect dab temp.
Q: How do I charge it?
A: It uses a USB-C cable and includes a long-lasting battery for many sessions between charges.
