1. Welcome

You're in.

Roots Glass is a small American brand making thick, hand-finished glass that actually performs. We're not chasing volume. We're building a small crew of creators who already smoke good and want to get paid for content that looks like them.

This is the doc you reference. Bookmark it. Send your followers our way and stack commission every month.

2. Your referral link + follower code

Two things do the work — your link tracks the sale, your code gives the discount.

Your referral link (this is how you get paid)

Log in at rootsglass.com/affiliate-account and grab your unique link — looks like rootsglass.com/?rootsaff=…. Copy it from there — don’t type it by hand.

Anyone who clicks it gets a tracking cookie that lasts 30 days. If they buy in that window, you earn commission — no matter what code they use at checkout. There's a QR code in your dashboard too if you want to drop it on a story.

The follower code (your own personal one): YOURNAME10

$10 off their order. Put it in your bio right under your link — it sweetens the deal and gets them to buy. It's your own code — nobody else has it — but it's not what pays you. Your link is the only thing that credits you. So always lead with your link; the code just closes the sale.

Where to put your stuff

• IG bio — your referral link, with YOURNAME10 right under it (this is the move — every click gets cookied)
• Reels — tag @rootsglasssupplyco and send people to the link in your bio
• Stories — link sticker pointing at your referral link

3. What we expect

• 2-4 Reels per month tagging @rootsglasssupplyco
• 2-3 Stories per week with your referral link sticker
• The tag goes on the Reel itself — not just the caption. Otherwise we can't see it.

That's it. No quotas on views. No daily content grind. 2-4 Reels a month + 2-3 stories a week.

If you crush it, we can talk about bumping you up — bigger kit, paid features, custom pieces.

4. Do's and don'ts

Do

• Use the gear. Show actual rips, packs, dabs, real use.
• Sound like you. Your voice, your humor, your camera angle.
• Show the piece clearly at least once per Reel (silhouette, function, or detail).
• Keep your link and YOURNAME10 in your bio so people can grab them without effort.
• Tag @rootsglasssupplyco on the post (the Reel cover, not just text).

Don't

• Read a script. We don't write them. If it sounds fake, scrap it.
• Slap our logo over your whole feed. We want your aesthetic, with our piece in it.
• Use cliché 420 stuff (leaf graphics, tie-dye, “blaze it” jokes). Our brand is the opposite of that.
• Post blurry or chopped-up content just to hit your number.
• Claim sales that weren't driven through your link.
• Put your code in captions or in text on your photos and videos. Keep it in your bio to stay within Instagram's guidelines.

5. Your first post — checklist

What to film

• Your welcome kit unboxed OR your favorite piece in real use
• 7–15 seconds, vertical (9:16), good light
• Show the piece. Show the function. Show YOU using it.

How to tag

• Tag @rootsglasssupplyco in the Reel (not just caption)
• Your referral link and YOURNAME10 in your IG bio (grab the link from rootsglass.com/affiliate-account)

When

Post within 14 days of receiving your kit. Sooner = better.

DM us when it's live. We'll repost it and spread the word.

6. Content ideas

Broad directions when you don't know what to post. Run with what fits your style.

• Unboxing — first reactions, kit reveal, what came in the box
• Function — pulls, packs, smoke shots, slow-mo of the milk
• Humor — memes, reactions, your take on the smoke world

7. How payouts work

Your dashboard

Log in at rootsglass.com/affiliate-account anytime to see your referral link, commissions earned (filterable by date), and your paid vs unpaid balance. That's your real-time "how am I doing" view.

The schedule

• 1st of every month — we review what your link drove the prior month
• We pay out — Zelle or PayPal, to the payment email you gave at signup
• Minimum to cash out: $25 — under that, it rolls to next month, no expiration

The rate

• 10% commission to start on every order your link drives — top creators earn up to 20%
• Based on product subtotal only — shipping and tax are not included
• Example: a $100 piece (before shipping/tax) = $10 (or $20 at the top tier)

8. Reposts + your rights

What we may do with your content

When you tag @rootsglasssupplyco, you're giving us permission to repost it on:

• Our IG feed, stories, or reels
• Our website (homepage, ambassador page, product pages)
• Our email newsletter
• Our paid ads, if it performs

Your handle stays visible. We credit you every time.

What you keep

• Full ownership of your content
• The right to take it down anytime
• The right to ask us to take it down — DM us, we'll remove within 48 hours
• The right to post the same content for other brands (unless you've told us otherwise)

This is shared use, not a buyout. You own the post. We just get to share it.

9. FAQ + contact

Do I have to be exclusive to Roots Glass?

No. Work with whoever you want.

How does my link actually credit me?

When someone clicks your link, a cookie is set in their browser for 30 days. If they buy in that window, you get the commission — even if they use YOURNAME10 or any other code at checkout.

What if a follower buys on their laptop after clicking on their phone?

That can break tracking — the cookie lives on the device that clicked. Best move: tell people to click your link and check out on the same device. It's not perfect, but it covers most orders.

Can I just give out my code without my link?

You can, but then you don't get credit — YOURNAME10 gives the discount but doesn't track to you. Always lead with your link.

How do I see my sales?

Log in at rootsglass.com/affiliate-account — real-time, filterable by month.

How do I earn the 20% rate?

Everyone starts at 10%. Top creators who consistently drive sales and stay active get bumped up to 20%. Keep posting and we'll move you up.

What if I want to upgrade pieces?

Use your own YOURNAME10 code ($10 off) on your own orders anytime. For big creators, hit us up — we send upgraded kits to ambassadors with bigger reach.

How do I leave the program?

Just DM us. We deactivate your account, pay out what's owed, no hard feelings. You can rejoin later.
