Why the atomizer matters most

Everything else on a CARTA shapes the vapor after it exists. The atomizer is where it gets made. Focus V’s Intelli-Core design heats the full chamber wall rather than just the floor, so the dab lifts evenly instead of scorching against one hot spot and leaving the rest stuck. Going up to the MAX version adds roughly 30% more chamber wall — more room to load, more vapor per cycle, without pushing the temperature higher to get it.

Fitment

Check the generation before ordering. Intelli-Core atomizers drop into the CARTA and AERIS lines, but not every part crosses every model in the family. Install is the same either way — twist the old one out, twist the new one in, and your app presets and session timers carry straight over.

Does this include the Focus V rig?

No. Everything here is a part for a CARTA you already own.

What’s a bubble cap for?

It caps the atomizer and directs airflow down across the load instead of letting it pull straight up, so more of what you dropped in actually vaporizes. Several of our atomizers ship with one.

How often do atomizers need replacing?

They’re a wear part — heat cycles and reclaim buildup eventually cost you performance. When dabs start tasting flat or the chamber won’t come clean, that’s the signal, not a fixed number of sessions.

Will a MAX atomizer make my dabs hotter?

No. More chamber wall spreads the same heat across more surface, which is why you can load bigger without raising the temperature. It’s capacity, not intensity.

How do I clean one?

Cotton swab the chamber while it’s still warm and most residue lifts straight out. For anything baked on, a short iso soak and a hot rinse. Never scrape the chamber with metal.
